University of New England seeks an Instructional Designer I to design, develop, and maintain engaging online learning experiences aligned with adult learning theory. The role supports online instructors and improves course quality across online offerings, working on-site at UNE's Portland, Maine campus.

The ID1 collaborates with faculty and stakeholders to develop learning modules, assess learning objectives, and ensure accessibility and ADA compliance within course materials.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with online teaching and learning in higher education or corporate settings.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, update, and revise online learning experiences across courses.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop engaging instructional activities and media.
• Coordinate course management tasks in the LMS for each term, including syllabi and gradebooks.
• Ensure ADA compliance and adhere to quality guidelines (Quality Matters).
• Provide faculty support for course management and feedback, manage multiple priorities.
