Job summary

Daikin Applied in Plymouth, MN, hybrid role, is seeking an Instructional Designer I to help design and develop technical HVAC learning content for sales and service teams. You will lead design projects, guide external instructional designers, and work with a variety of modalities including eLearning, VILT, and ILT.

A Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years' experience are required, with tools like Adobe Suite, Articulate, Camtasia, and Webex preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Learning, Education, Human Resources, Business.
• 1-2 years of Instructional design experience.
• Authoring tools experience.
• Design and development of VILT, eLearning, micro-learning, and ILT.
• Knowledge of design/development tools, modalities and technology.
• Strong communication skills.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Instructional Design & Development using high-impact methods to create engaging content across multiple modalities.
• Lead design projects and direct external instructional designers on deliverables and day-to-day duties.
• Coordinate multiple projects with standard learning project management practices to ensure on-time delivery.
