Job summary

McKesson is seeking an Instructional Designer to join the Learning Development and Delivery team. The hybrid role involves designing and developing curriculum for Customer Experience Operations and Supply Chain, with a portfolio required for consideration.

You will manage SMEs, develop content, analyze learning objectives, and deliver engaging training across multiple modalities while coordinating with global teams. Strong ISD knowledge and advanced MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in instructional design and e-Learning development.
• Strong prioritization and planning skills with on-time delivery.
• Detail-oriented, fast-paced with multiple deadlines.
• Proven ability to build rapport with business partners at multiple levels.
• Design engaging training using various modalities and methods.
• Advanced Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise360.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proofreading/editing.
• Proficiency with multimedia and e-learning tools (HeyGen, PowerPoint, Vyond, Camtasia, Storyline).
• Utilizes AI tools to create engaging learning content.
• Graphic design and audio/video editing experience.
• Working knowledge of LMS (Cornerstone OnDemand preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage SMEs and stakeholder relationships to define learning needs and outcomes.
• Develop content using learning technology tools and resources.
• Analyze, build, and maintain new hire training programs.
• Perform business and performance analyses to set objectives and learner profiles.
• Propose cost-effective learning solutions leveraging ISD principles.
• Establish goals and objectives to design curriculum using ISD methods.
• End-to-end design process management with urgency and results focus.
• Create training videos, games, job aids, posters, manuals, and e-learning deliverables.
• Conduct train-the-trainer sessions for consistency across markets.
• Ensure smooth handoff to delivery team and manage project milestones.
• Manage content, enrollment, and LMS reporting; design assessments.
• Analyze evaluation dashboards for readiness and impact.
• Handle other training duties as defined by leadership.
