Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop role-based curricula and qualification pathways for critical facilities operations personnel.
  • Partner with technical SMEs to analyze job tasks, performance requirements, knowledge gaps, and training needs.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, practical learning experiences for adult learners.
  • Develop instructor-led, virtual, digital, blended, and hands-on learning solutions.
  • Create course outlines, facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, technical references, and performance-support tools.
  • Develop written assessments, practical evaluations, knowledge checks, and qualification criteria.
  • Apply instructional design methodologies to ensure training is measurable and aligned with outcomes.
  • Support training for new-site launches, commissioning, equipment turnover, onboarding, remediation, and development.
  • Maintain curriculum governance, version control, review cycles, and standardized templates.
  • Incorporate lessons learned and updates into training revisions.
  • Coordinate pilot delivery, collect performance data, and improve programs based on results.
  • Support learning management system administration, course assignment, completion tracking, and reporting.
  • Manage multiple concurrent development projects and deadlines.
  • Help establish common instructional design standards for the Training Center of Excellence.

Job Description

This role will partner with technical subject matter experts, Operations, Engineering, Commissioning, and other stakeholders to transform complex technical information into structured curricula, qualification pathways, assessments, instructor‑led courses, digital learning, and performance‑support tools. Because the organization is in an early stage of development, this position will have significant influence over how training standards, learning processes, and workforce development programs are established and scale across multiple data center campuses.

  • Success Measures Success in this role will be demonstrated through: Delivery of high-quality curricula aligned with operational and launch milestones. Consistent use of standardized learning materials across supported campuses. Reduced time required to develop, review, and release priority training. Improved learner readiness, first-pass assessment results, and time-to-qualification. Effective collaboration between Training, technical SMEs, and Operations. Timely integration of lessons learned, equipment changes, and operational requirements. Development of scalable programs that strengthen internal technical capability and help reduce long-term reliance on external vendors.
  • Work Model This role is part of a centralized Training Center of Excellence based in Nashville, TN and supports multiple data center campuses. Periodic travel may be required to conduct needs assessments, observe job performance, support pilot delivery, collaborate with site stakeholders, and evaluate training effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting data centers, critical facilities, utilities, manufacturing, engineering, aviation,
  • energy, or another technically complex operating environment.
  • Experience developing competency‑based qualification or certification programs.
  • Experience creating practical performance evaluations and hands‑on training materials.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems, curriculum governance, and training analytics.
  • Experience supporting new‑site launches, workforce ramps, or rapidly growing organizations.
  • Relevant degree or professional certification in instructional design, education, organizational development, learning technology, or a related field.
Qualifications

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $91,400 - $187,000 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
