Job summary

ProLucero Inc. is hiring to own bilingual courseware end-to-end—from analysis with SMEs to scripting, build, narration direction, QA and publication. You will be the sole designer responsible for the craft and accountability for what goes out the door.

You will design interactive, mobile-friendly modules on workplace compliance, author content in English and Latin American Spanish, and apply ADDIE or SAM models to craft engaging learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Three or more years designing instruction for adult learners.
• Proven ability to ship e-learning with a demonstrable portfolio.
• Hands-on authoring in Synthesia or similar AI-avatar video platform.
• Read regulatory text and render it in plain jobsite language without changing requirements.
• SCORM packaging and LMS publication experience.

This role requires weekly in-person collaboration in the Charlotte metro area.

We build mobile-first microlearning, toolbox talks, field forms and compliance courseware for residential construction and manufactured housing, delivered bilingually through our LMS. Our content is written in Latin American Spanish first — not translated as an afterthought — because the workers who carry the most risk on a jobsite are too often handed safety training in a language they are still learning.

We are a woman-owned Delaware C-corporation headquartered in Lancaster, South Carolina. We are less than two years old and growing quickly. We need someone ready to move fast, with excitement and attention to detail. What you design this month is on a phone, on a jobsite, next month.

The Role

You will own bilingual courseware end to end — analysis with our Implementation Director and SMEs, scripting, build, narration direction, quality assurance and publication. There is no production team behind you. That is the trade: total ownership of the craft, and total accountability for what goes out the door.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive, mobile-friendly eLearning modules focused on workplace jobsite compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA standards).
• Author source content in Latin American Spanish and English, treating each as an original rather than a translation.
• Apply instructional design models (such as ADDIE or SAM) to conduct needs analyses, define learning objectives, and create storyboards, scripts, and content outlines.
• Build courses using Articulate 360 and Synthesia, incorporating multimedia elements, assessments, branching scenarios, and interactive activities to enhance learner engagement.
• Produce narrated instructional video in both languages using Synthesia, including script preparation and narration direction.
• Verify every regulatory threshold, measurement and requirement against primary sources before publication — no number ships unverified.
• Maintain controlled bilingual terminology, including a deliberately restricted Spanish vocabulary set that governs how obligation and consequence are expressed to workers.

What You Bring

Experience

• Three or more years designing instruction for adult learners, with a portfolio of shipped e-learning you can walk us through.
• Demonstrated Articulate Storyline capability — building interactions, variables and branching, not populating a template.
• Hands‑on authoring in Synthesia or a comparable AI-avatar video platform, including script preparation and narration direction.
• Working command of ESL/ELL methodology for adults, and of plain‑language design for low‑print‑literacy readers.
• SCORM packaging and LMS publication experience.
• Ability to read primary regulatory text and render it in plain jobsite language without changing what it requires.
• Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, applied linguistics, communication or a related field — or a body of shipped work that makes the degree beside the point.

Preferred

• Background in construction, manufactured housing, or industrial safety training.
• OSHA construction outreach trainer credential, CHST, or comparable safety qualification — or the appetite to earn one.
• Experience designing for adult learners with limited formal schooling.
• Bilingual assessment design or translation quality assurance.

How We Work

We move quickly, though regulatory accuracy outranks deadline. We do not make compliance claims our product cannot support.

You will capture and use real jobsite imagery — sometimes this will be provided to you, other times you will be capturing it on an active residential construction site.
