Description

This position supports the Parts, Service & Technical Division in achieving its business objectives to enhance Fixed-First-Visit rates. The role involves developing effective technical training content, documents, and materials based on market studies and needs analyses. Through clear and well-structured training content, this position educates dealership personnel, primarily technicians, on various topics, including vehicle systems, emerging technologies, and diagnostic procedures, ensuring a higher level of technical proficiency and service accuracy in the field.

• Create online content using the Articulate Storyline 360 authoring tool

• Create animation and visuals within the limits of Articulate Storyline 360

• Develop assessments (e.g., tests, quizzes, etc.) to measure learning effectiveness within Storyline 360

• Maintain an organized set of project documents and files

• Schedule Kick-off meetings and check-ins with Instructional designers and illustrators

40%: Develop and maintain online self-study modules.

30%: Develop and maintain training center skill modules.

15%: Conduct market studies and needs analyses, identify action plans to improve performance metrics.

15%: Complete assigned special projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Two or more years using Articulate Storyline to develop online training

• Experience working on eLearning courses using graphics and narrations

• Direct experience with or knowledge of dealership retail operations (preferred)

• Knowledge of automotive vehicle systems (preferred)

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Visualizing instructional graphics, user interface, and finalized output

• Ability to understand storyboards as written by in-house instructional designers

• Ability to produce best-in-class animations and positioning of assets to help drive learning outcomes

• Operating in a dynamic team environment and being flexible with changes

• Ability to proficiently use MS Office, and selected Adobe and Articulate products

• Communicating effectively, attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Previous Experience with Java (highly preferred)

This is Onsite in Torrance, CA, 1-year W-2 Contract at a rate of $30-$39 per hour pending experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39.73 - $39.73/hr.
