Job summary

IES is seeking an Instructional Designer to support the training department by managing the LMS and collaborating with management on content development and delivery.

Under the Training Manager’s direction, you will design courses, develop CBT modules, and create instructor materials while staying current with best practices in instructional design.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of adult learning theory.
• Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS).
• Understanding the visual design of learning best practices.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Experience with e-learning software such as Articulate Storyline and Camtasia.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information to non-technical clients.
• Ability to think critically and ask detailed questions.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.

Job Title: Instructional Designer

Job Summary

The Instructional Designer supports the training department’s mission to provide all IES employees quality training content and resources. Under the direction of the Training Manager, the IES Instructional Designer will manage the LMS, and work with management on content development and delivery
