Job summary

A recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer for a one-year contract role. This position involves developing training materials using the ADDIE approach, supporting organizational learning and development initiatives. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of instructional design experience. This role is remote, but preference will be given to those residing in Wisconsin, particularly in the greater Madison area.

Job description

The QTI Group is partnering with a Madison-based client to hire an Instructional Designer. This one-year contract position plays a critical role in supporting learning and development initiatives across the organization. Centered around the ADDIE training approach, the Instructional Designer will be required to translate a variety of complex processes and system changes into clear, concise and consistent training material, for both virtual and in-person audiences.

Location

Remote. Candidates must reside in Wisconsin and preference will be given to candidates in the greater Madison area.

Additional Details

This is a one-year contract position.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop training materials including e-learning materials, job aids, reference guides and instructor-led content
  • Prepare facilitators and support training delivery – tailoring training materials to various and diverse audiences
  • Align content with departmental training strategies
  • Ensure materials are optimized for both virtual and in-person training
  • Translate technical and process knowledge into learner-friendly content
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education or similar field required
  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design, preferably supporting large scale implementations
