The e-Learning and Instructional Support (e-LIS) office is seeking an undergraduate student to join our Instructional Design team as an Instructional Design Assistant. This position does not require prior instructional design experience, as we provide training. To qualify, applicants must be full-time undergraduate students at Oakland University.
This role is ideal for students interested in developing skills in ADA compliance, digital accessibility, project management, instructional design, and technical skills. Work involves supporting faculty and instructors, enhancing teaching and learning, and gaining experience with instructional design and higher education practices. Many of the skills you will develop are broadly applicable to a variety of professional settings, and students from all majors are encouraged to apply!
Please note: this position involves editing online course pages, files, and videos for ADA compliance, as well as basic software troubleshooting.
Note: For this remote position, the candidate must be located in Michigan. A reliable computer and internet access will also be a requirement of the position.
