Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking an Instructional Coach in Pennsylvania to strengthen teaching practice through collaborative, student-centered coaching. You will build educator capacity and support high-quality instruction that helps all learners grow.

You’ll coach teachers using observation, modeling, dialogue, and co-teaching, align instruction with standards, and provide professional development to boost educator effectiveness while working with school leaders on data-driven improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in special education or a related field.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Instructional II Special Education certification.
  • Experience supporting instructional practice through coaching or mentoring.
  • Strong knowledge of standards-based instruction and curriculum alignment.

Responsibilities

As the Instructional Coach at New Story Schools, you will strengthen teaching practice through collaborative, student-centered coaching. Your work builds educator capacity, promotes high-quality instruction, and supports positive outcomes for all learners.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in special education or a related field

  • Valid Pennsylvania Instructional II Special Education certification

  • Experience supporting instructional practice through coaching or mentoring

  • Strong knowledge of standards-based instruction and curriculum alignment

  • Ability to build trust through non-evaluative, collaborative relationships
