Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking an Instructional Coach to strengthen teaching practice through collaborative, student-centered coaching. You will coach teachers, promote alignment with standards and assessments, and provide professional development to enhance educator effectiveness.

Join a team focused on inclusive, engaging learning environments and data-driven improvement planning, while building trust through non-evaluative collaboration with school leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in special education or related field.
• Pennsylvania Instructional II Special Education certification.
• Experience coaching or mentoring instructional practice.
• Knowledge of standards-based instruction and curriculum alignment.
• Ability to build trust through collaborative, non-evaluative relationships.

• Coach teachers using observation, modeling, dialogue, and co-teaching practices.

As the Instructional Coach at New Story Schools, you will strengthen teaching practice through collaborative, student-centered coaching. Your work builds educator capacity, promotes high-quality instruction, and supports positive outcomes for all learners.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in special education or a related field

• Valid Pennsylvania Instructional II Special Education certification

• Experience supporting instructional practice through coaching or mentoring

• Strong knowledge of standards-based instruction and curriculum alignment

• Ability to build trust through non-evaluative, collaborative relationships
