Partners in Democracy is seeking a part-time Instructional Coach to support new educators in their transition to the classroom. This role involves mentoring, providing feedback, and fostering a positive learning environment through online and synchronous sessions. About iteach
iteach is a competency-based educator preparation program helping to fill the void the nation faces with the unprecedented teacher shortage. iteach enables paraprofessionals, substitute teachers, and others seeking to become teachers to get the affordable, time-saving education they need to become licensed. Our program combines the convenience of online learning with a full year of face-to-face mentorship during a teaching residency. Notably, iteach is the only non-university educator preparation program to achieve accreditation from the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
Location:Remote, available from anywhere within the U.S.
Employment: Part-Time Variable Position - less than 20 hours per week, with variable hours depending on seasonal demand.
The Opportunity
As an Instructional Coach at iteach, you will play a crucial role in supporting new teachers as they transition from the iteach alternative certification program into their first classrooms. New teachers entering the classroom for the first time benefit from your guidance as they develop their instructional skills and build confidence in their teaching practice.
In this role, you will provide targeted coaching, feedback, and mentorship to ensure these teachers develop the instructional skills and classroom strategies needed to succeed. Through online learning platforms, discussion boards, and live coaching sessions, you will help bridge the gap between theory and practice, fostering a supportive learning environment where new teachers can refine their craft, address challenges, and celebrate successes.
The Instructional Coach reports to the Manager, Instruction.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must be currently teaching and hold an active state-specific certification. Eligibility is limited to the state where you are certified and currently teaching.

Compensation Range
