Park City School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant - SPED Complex Support Needs to join a part-time role with 32 hours per week across 178 contract days for a full school year.
You will support the instructional program in assigned classrooms, supervise and instruct severely special needs students, observe progress, implement plans, and assist with health care needs. The job requires physical agility and Mandt-system restraints when necessary.

Responsibilities: To provide support to the instructional program within assigned classroom with specific responsibility for assisting in the supervision and instruction of severely special needs students; observing and documenting student progress; implementing plans for instruction; and assisting students by providing for special health care needs. This position requires physical agility—including the ability to run, jump, walk, and stand— as well as the capacity to safely implement approved Mandt System physical restraint techniques when necessary to support student safety.
Requirements: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and some experience working with children in an educational or organized learning environment. Experience working with individuals with special needs is desirable.
Salary: Based on the 2025-2026 Education Support Professional Salary Schedule $30.88 per hour starting hourly rate- prorated based on start date (Salary placement is based on related experience); plus insurance and retirement benefits
