Jordan District is seeking an Instructional Assistant Self-Contained I PT at Heartland Elementary. This Title I school role requires candidates to be highly qualified and meet one of the specified education criteria.

Lane4 Step 1 pays $21.33 per hour, with Basic Training (5 hours) within the first week of hire and an additional 40 hours of training offered to advance to lane 5 within six months. The position is part-time and focused on Special Education support in a self-contained setting, with

Applicant must be highly qualified. This would include one of the following:
- Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college/university; or
- 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university; or
- Pass the ParaPro Assessment

Must complete Basic Training (5 hours) provided by JSD Special Education Department. Training must be completed within one week of hire as a condition of employment.

Additional 40 hours of training is available through the Special Education department allowing the employee to increase to lane 5 upon completion. Training must be completed within six (6) months from hire date as a condition of employment.
