Instructional Assistant III - ASD Mild/Mod Class Support

QUALIFICATIONS

Instructional Assistant IIIs support our severe/emotionally disturbed students. We are looking for candidates with any combination of experience and training which provides the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job duties.

Severe/Emotionally Disturbed - working with students who have a Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs. Students designated as an emotionally disturbed (ED) class or an autism class or assigned to a Behaviorist to assist individual students. Experience working with groups of children; experience working with impaired children or adults highly desirable; coursework in child development highly desirable. MATERIALS REQUIRED/REQUIREMENTS

Must pre-qualify by attaching your High School Diploma or equivalent and one document [A or B] from the following list:

**Passing the IA Proficiency Test or having the CBEST is required, regardless of educational background. Applications submitted without the required test results will not be considered.
