Job summary

San Juan Unified School District is seeking a Secondary Elementary Instructional Assistant at Arcade Middle School. Calendar 18B, 9 months/year, 206 days, 7 hours/day, Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–3:00 PM. Part-time at 206 days/year with benefits included.

Qualifications

Instructional Assistant IIIs support our severe/emotionally disturbed students.

Severe/Emotionally Disturbed - working with students who have a Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs. Students designated as an emotionally disturbed (ED) class or an autism class or assigned to a Behaviorist to assist individual students. Experience working with groups of children; experience working with impaired children or adults highly desirable; coursework in child development highly desirable.
