American River College is seeking a Food Service Laboratory Assistant to support instructional activities in the food service lab. Responsibilities include preparing demonstrations, maintaining inventory, and assisting students. This role requires an equity-minded focus and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds.
Under the general supervision of the assigned manager or supervisor, the Food Service Laboratory Assistant assists with laboratory preparations, presents demonstrations, and supports general instructional activities in the food service laboratory.

The incumbent's responsibilities include:
One year of experience in educational or field work related to food services management.
Completion of an Associate's Degree in Hospitality Management or 60 semester units (90 quarter units) with 43 units in hospitality management courses. Additional qualifying experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Education must be from an accredited institution.
