Summary: Works under the direct supervision of program management to provide functional skills training and personal care to disabled customers.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; experience in day or residential programs serving persons with disabilities preferred.
- Language Ability: Ability to read, write, and understand English. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Math Ability: Basic mathematical skills.
- Computer Skills: Working knowledge of personal computers (highly desirable).
- Driving Skills: Valid CDL and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities:
- Provides group and individual instruction daily
- Provides personal care as needed, including bathroom duties
- Assists with behavioral management techniques as per instructional plans
- Records daily progress data towards ISP objectives
- Maintains classroom equipment and facility cleanliness
- Ensures compliance with Community Care Licensing regulations (Title 17 & 22)
- Builds rapport with customers, staff, and stakeholders
- Provides transportation for customers as needed
- Contributes to the development of individualized service plan objectives
- Participates in customer meetings and agency training
- Performs additional duties as assigned
