Summary:
The Instructional Assistant will work in the Alternative Education Program and will be responsible for providing support to the teacher and students in the classroom. The ideal candidate should have a passion for education and a desire to help students succeed.

Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in preparing lesson plans and instructional materials
- Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to provide academic support
- Monitor student progress and report any concerns to teachers
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management
- Provide support for students with special needs or learning disabilities
- Assist with grading and record-keeping
- Attend meetings and trainings as required

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members
- Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles
- Knowledge of basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
