Job summary

Kingdom East Unified Union School District in Vermont seeks a part-time Instructional Assistant (IA) to work 3 hours daily at the Concord School, supporting students ages 5–14. The role emphasizes care, growth, and learning across academic, social, emotional, and behavioral skills with experience in special learning needs preferred.

The candidate will collaborate with teachers and case managers under the direction of the school administrator and Director of Student Services.

Qualifications

• Experience with or desire to support children with special learning needs.
• Strong teamwork, flexibility and collaboration with classroom staff.
• Must complete ParaPro assessment and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing care and support for students to grow academically and socially.
• Collaborate with teachers and case managers under administrator guidance.
• Support KEAP after-school program activities 3:00–5:00pm, Mon–Thu.
