Job summary

Pittsboro Elementary School is seeking a caring, dependable, and motivated Instructional Assistant to support students. This on-site role complements certified staff and helps maintain a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities include implementing instructional plans, supervising students, tracking progress, and participating in staff activities. Candidates should have a high school diploma; preferred are higher credits or ParaPro, with experience supporting students with special needs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preference for 60+ college credits or Associate's degree or passing ParaPro assessment.
• Experience with students with special needs is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Compensation:

• Position is not benefit-eligible due to hours
