Job Description: Instructional Aide (Pre-K - 4th Float)Summary:St. Anthony School is seeking an engaging and mission-focused Instructional Aide to float between grades Pre-Kindergarten to 4th grade depending on the need. Instructional Aides are utilized to maximize student learning in the classroom. Their primary function is to assist the classroom teacher in providing a safe, supportive, effective, and well-managed learning environment for all students.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:1. Works with individual students or small groups, at the direction of the classroom teacher, to advance student learning.
2. Assists teachers in preparing materials for classroom and learning activities. Instructional duties may include: previewing material, pre-teaching, reviewing and re-teaching, or creating visual aids.
3. Assists teachers in the assessment of student learning and promoting the growth of students with special learning needs.
4. Provides outside of class supervision (lunchroom, playground, class transitions, etc.).
5. Provides limited supervision of the class if a teacher needs to leave the classroom for a short period of time.
6. Maintains confidentiality regarding student information and educational program data.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:The position requires the ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 30 pounds and to stand for extended periods of time.
Benefits / Hours:This role is a non-benefited, part-time position of 25-28 hours / week. The hourly rate is $21.74/hour. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
