Sacred Heart School in Bellevue is seeking an instructional aide to to support students and teachers in grades 1-5. The instructional aide will work together with classroom teachers and specialists. The ideal candidate will be an active Catholic who is flexible, creative, experienced in working with children, interested in working as part of an educational team, comfortable using educational technology, and able to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students. Instructional aides will work one-on-one with students (e.g., proctoring a make-up test or reading a test aloud), with small groups (e.g., reteaching challenging concepts or working through a problem from the playground), provide some whole group instruction (e.g., SEL lessons), and provide some practical support for teachers (e.g., filing, copying, setting up science experiments).

This position is a full-time position (8 am to 3:30 pm and most Wednesdays until 4:30 pm for staff meetings).

Minimum requirements for being hired are: a successful Background Check, age 18 or older, MMR verification, and possessing at least a high school diploma.

Salary: The pay range for this position is from $22-$35/hour. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
