Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 48 college hours from an accredited college.
• Valid Texas educational aide certificate.
• Ability to assist with classroom instruction.
• Ability to work well with children.
• Effective verbal and written communication; organizational skills.
• Spanish language ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instructional support to students as assigned by the teacher.
• Assist with instructional materials, displays, and assessments.
• Support inventory and maintenance of classroom equipment.
• Assist substitute teachers and parental involvement activities.
• Supervise students during various times and locations.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and district information.
