Responsibilities

• Participates in daily and long-range planning for assigned area.
• Prepares classroom materials and develops activities for assigned area.
• Conducts activities with individuals and small groups in assigned area.
• Assists in preparing class displays and bulletin boards for assigned area.
• Assists in caring for and securing classroom equipment and supplies.
• Assists in duties related to assigned area.
• Assists with classroom management in assigned area.
• Assists with clerical work, projects and programs, special events and field trips in assigned area.
• Alerts the teacher to special needs of individual students in assigned area.
• Maintains confidentiality with regard to students.
• Performs other related duties as assigned
