Wings Learning Center seeks an assistant to support teachers across elementary, middle, and secondary programs. You will work with Education Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and admins to implement curriculum and behavior supports.

You will record behavioral data tied to IEP goals, assist in meetings, and help with activity preparation in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of 48 college units or a high school diploma with Wings Learning Center assessment.
• Experience is preferred but training is provided.

About The Role

Responsibilities:

To assist the teacher in the classroom working with Elementary, Middle School, and Secondary students. Our model is collaborative with Education Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists and an engaged administrative support team. Assist in preparing and implementing curriculum, supporting students using positive behavior interventions, recording data regarding behaviors including Individual Education Plan goals, and participate in classroom meetings and activity preparation.

Qualifications:

Completion of 48 units of higher education OR High School Diploma (or equivalent) and completion of Wings Learning Center Assessment.

Experience preferred but not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate!
