INSTR PROGRAM ACTIVITY COORDINATOR - TROPICAL ELEMENTARY

Position Summary

The goal of this position is to plan and conduct on-site academic and enrichment activities for the Before and After School Care program, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for participants.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement program activities that are safe, educational, and engaging.
  • Supervise children during program hours, ensuring safety and appropriate behavior.
  • Coordinate with school staff and parents regarding program activities and participant needs.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience working with school-age children in group settings is preferred.
  • Within the first year, complete Child Abuse and Neglect training, and obtain First Aid and CPR certifications, maintaining them thereafter.
  • Attend at least ten hours of approved Before and After School Child Care training within the first year, with ten additional hours each subsequent year.
  • Demonstrate personal characteristics suitable for working with children, youth, and adults.
  • Proficiency in computer skills relevant to the position.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
