Description:

EDUCATION: An earned bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

EXPERIENCE: Experience working with school-age children in a group supervision setting is preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Within the first year of employment, complete Child Abuse and Neglect training, attain First Aid and CPR certification, and maintain certification. Attend at least ten hours of approved Before and After School Child Care training within the first year. Additional annual BASCC training of ten hours is required. Demonstrate appropriate personal characteristics for working with children, youth, and adults. Computer skills are required as needed for the position.

PREFERRED: Twelve (12) hours of Child Development coursework. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Compensation and Schedule:

Hourly Rate: $23.00 per hour

Calendar: 186 days

Hours per Day: 2-5 hours

Pay Grade: NONUNION

Work Calendar: 0054 Temporary/Subs
