Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Institutional Security Officer located in Worcester, MA. The Institutional Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the college campus, patrolling campus grounds, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to emergencies. Additional responsibilities include enforcing campus policies, assisting with access control, and providing security escorts for faculty, staff, and students. The officer will collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience in security, law enforcement, or related field
• Knowledge of surveillance systems and access control procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies
• Familiarity with campus safety protocols and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security is a plus
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
