Company Overview : We are partnered with a well-established, brokerage firm that has been a trusted leader in their space for over 20 years. They take pride in being the only institutional broker-dealer in the country with a special certification that allows them to engage in certain federal contracts. As they continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Institutional Sales Trader to join the growing team.

Job Overview : We are looking for a talented and driven Institutional Sales Trader to work remotely, focusing on institutional markets. The ideal candidate will play a key role in executing trades, advising clients, and contributing to the overall success of our Capital Markets division. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking, minority-owned firm with a strong industry presence. In-office work options available if desired.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Execute trades in equities, pre-IPO, securities, and derivatives on behalf of institutional clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients, providing insights and strategic trading advice.
  • Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and developments in capital markets.
  • Provide exceptional client service and proactively address client needs.
  • Work closely with senior traders, management, and compliance teams to ensure best execution and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in institutional sales trading with a deep understanding of equities, pre-IPO, securities, and derivatives.
  • Strong knowledge of capital markets and regulatory environments.
  • Portable book
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet performance goals.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and client-focused mindset.

Compensation :

  • Competitive salary with 50% and over payout structure based on portable book and performance.
