Job summary

Invesco in New York, NY seeks a North America Institutional Sales Analyst to partner with Sales and Consultant Relations, delivering analytical support for marketing and sales initiatives and enhancing client experiences.

You will develop expertise across asset management, institutional sales, and analytics, supporting campaigns and client materials while collaborating with partners across Sales, Marketing, Client Service and Investments.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Business and financial acumen with client-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in sales and/or client service.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and a team player.
  • Familiarity with industry datasets/tools and CRM systems is a plus.
  • Willingness to obtain FINRA SIE, Series 7 and 63 within the firm-defined period.

Responsibilities

  • Support marketing and sales initiatives with analytical insights.
  • Maintain client profiles and background materials for meetings.
  • Track sales activity and pipeline data in CRM and industry tools.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Client Service and Investments to drive timely campaigns.
  • Create tailored materials for clients, prospects, or consultants.
  • Assist senior staff with business plan execution and performance tracking.
  • Contribute to North American Institutional initiatives to improve reporting and communication.
  • Research client demand trends and build a path to future Invesco Institutional sales.

About the Team:

North America Institutional ("NAI") is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with institutional asset owners, intermediaries and partners. Our team of dedicated professionals provides insights into industry trends and investor challenges across pension plans, insurance companies, nonprofit organizations and financial institutions. Operating with a client-centric mentality, we strive to bring all of Invesco to our clients adding value beyond investment returns.

About the Role:

The NAI Sales Analyst position will partner closely with Sales and Consultant Relations members of the NAI team to provide analytical support to marketing and sales initiatives, which augment distribution efforts and drives a superior end-to-end client experience. The NAI Sales Analyst will develop a broad array of experience within asset management, institutional sales/consultant relations and analytical operations of Invesco.

Responsibilities of the Role:
  • Ensure timely delivery against reporting needs of both internal business partners and external clients by working with broader Invesco organization
  • Prepare client profiles and other background materials for client meetings
  • Maintain and monitor sales activity, client insights and pipeline data in Salesforce leveraging third-party tools such as eVestment, Preqin, WithIntelligence, Money Market Directory, FinSearches, etc.
  • Work closely with internal partners across Sales, Marketing, Client Service and Investments to help drive and develop timely marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate with internal partners on production and distribution, thus developing compelling, tailored materials for use with clients, prospects, or consultants as necessary
  • Support development of and track performance against execution of business plans for senior team members and external clients, prospects and consultants as assigned
  • Participate in specific North American Institutional business initiatives to improve overall team performance efforts related to enhancing reporting/communication
  • Conduct research on client demand trends
  • Building personal skillset to be an Invesco Institutional salesperson of the future
Requirements of the Role:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong business and financial acumen and interest
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products, etc.
  • Good general investment industry knowledge
  • Strong work ethic
  • Entrepreneurialism – demonstrate initiative to originate new or innovative approaches that will enable Invesco to remain an industry leader
  • Prior experience in sales and/or client service
  • FINRA SIE, Series 7 and 63 licensing a plus (must acquire within firm-defined time period)

The salary range for this position in New York, NY is $100,000- $110,000 Base/year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location
