Job summary

Mesirow Financial Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Investment Consultant for our Chicago headquarters. The role focuses on investment research, data analysis, and client reporting within fiduciary services.

You will collaborate with peers and leadership, build client relationships, and contribute to quarterly investment reviews while developing expertise in our reporting tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
• CFA designation or progress towards CFA designation preferred.
• 1–5 years’ experience in investment consulting or related field; internships count.
• Strong attention to detail, deadlines, and large data handling.
• Collaborative, curious, proactive and able to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Serve on institutional client teams, creating and reviewing recurring client reports.
• Build long-term client relationships by understanding workflows.
• Contribute to recurring client calls and quarterly reviews on strategies and markets.
• Lead ad-hoc requests from the sales team with clients.
• Participate in additional client projects and testing of new systems.
