Job summary

Northern Trust Corp. is seeking an Investment Associate to support institutional client relationships and coordinate cross-functional resources. You will work with Relationship Managers to address client inquiries and servicing needs, contributing to new business development and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years of experience with institutional clients, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office. The role requires Series 7 and 63 licenses within 90 days and a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience interacting with institutional investors or similar professional contacts.
• Ability to listen purposefully and apply problem-solving to address client servicing issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with sophisticated investors.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Relationship Managers to support a portfolio of institutional client relationships and new business development efforts.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for client inquiries, requests, and servicing needs.
• Cultivate strong relationships with client contacts and their service providers; anticipate client needs.
