Job summary

Weill Cornell Medicine in Midtown is seeking an Institutional Data Analyst to develop data-driven insights and deliver reliable reporting solutions onsite. You will build dashboards using Power BI and Tableau, transform data with SQL and Python, and support institutional reporting infrastructure.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, automate processes, and document analyses for surveys like IPEDS, AAMC, and LCME.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field (math, statistics, CS, or related).
Approximately 3–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
Experience modeling and visualizing with Power BI and Tableau.
Advanced data handling with SQL, Python (Pandas/Numpy), and VizQL.

Responsibilities

Create complex standard and ad hoc reports using DAX, drill-through, and custom layouts.
Apply knowledge of higher education fund and general ledger data to reporting and forecasting.
Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate reporting requirements.
Design, develop, and maintain reporting infrastructure, dashboards, and visualizations.
Improve workflows via automation and improved usability; integrate data from multiple sources.
Produce documentation and provide end-user support across teams.
Support surveys such as IPEDS, AAMC, LCME; perform other duties as assigned.
