Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking an Institutional Client Specialist within IIS, a unit of ICS, to deliver end-to-end client service for institutional and family office clients. You will support onboarding, maintenance, investment execution, reporting and billing, collaborating with custodians, fund managers and internal partners.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), 3+ years’ experience, and active Series 7/63/65 licenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience preferred.
• Active Series 7, 63, and 65 (or Series 7 and 66) required.
• Additional product licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain institutional client relationships by delivering timely, high-quality service.
• Process and elevate requests as needed.
• Resolve inquiries and ensure client records are current.
• Build knowledge of third-party custodians to support onboarding and service requests.
• Onboard new institutional clients by collecting and validating required information.
• Support contract creation/execution and account setup requirements.
• Collaborate with Investment Officers and Financial Advisors to share best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of service execution.
• Escalate issues per firm controls and documentation standards.
