Institutional Business Manager- Southeast
The Institutional Business Manager- Southeast promotes Rigel’s oncology portfolio to meet/exceed assigned territory sales goals in identified Institutional, System of Care/IDN, VA level accounts. This is a field position covering assigned institutions within Florida, Georgia, Alabama, NE Miss, South Carolina, Eastern NC, and Puerto Rico.
Salary range: National $200,000 - $235,000
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable for delivering assigned product sales consistent with meeting company forecast expectations.
- Develop strong, productive customer relationships, evaluate, and maximize engagement opportunities including conferences as needed.
- Develop strategic plans to optimize customer engagement and account outcomes in coordination with extended territory team by analyzing market data to assess business opportunities and priorities ensuring focused time and resources.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to impact customer product adoption decision making by communicating key product messages across assigned geography through influential engagement with Customers.
- Provide business updates regarding the challenges & opportunities that exist related to assigned accounts and high potential HCPs, meet frequently with extended territory partners to ensure best promotional execution, and communicate key events / account information that positively impacts sales results.
- Positively influence and motivate extended team members in delivering results by working to foster a culture of engagement, teamwork, and accountability.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of three years of Institutional sales, oncology preferred
- Minimum of two years of large account management experience
- Minimum three years experience in Hematology/Oncology sales
- Proven success in consistently delivering above quota sales results
- Ability to travel as needed which may exceed 50% of time including overnights and weekends
WORKING CONDITIONS
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk; sit; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Some travel may be required.
