Byers Rental Cars LLC – Hertz Car Rental is hiring an Instant Return Representative in Ohio. You will streamline the express vehicle return, deliver courteous service, inspect vehicles, and ensure accurate recording of rental data.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide them through the vehicle return process.
• Provide courteous, efficient service and answer questions.
• Inspect returning vehicles for damage, cleanliness, mileage, and fuel levels.
• Document mileage, fuel levels, and any damage accurately.
• Report vehicle damage promptly and communicate with customers professionally.
• Assist customers with locating lost belongings and other requests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
• Enter information into company systems and tools accurately.
• Follow established return procedures and operational processes.
• Collaborate with team to maintain an efficient operation and positive experience.

Position Overview

As an Instant Return Representative, you will play an important role in creating a positive final impression for our rental customers. You will assist customers through the express vehicle return process, provide courteous and efficient service, inspect returning vehicles, and ensure rental information is accurately recorded.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and motivated to contribute to both team success and sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and efficiently assist them through the vehicle return process.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering directions, and assisting with luggage or other reasonable customer requests.
• Inspect returning vehicles for damage, cleanliness, mileage, and fuel levels.
• Accurately document vehicle mileage, fuel levels, and any damage identified during the return process.
• Immediately report vehicle damage and communicate professionally with customers regarding any concerns.
• Assist customers with locating lost or forgotten belongings.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and professional work environment.
• Enter accurate information into company computer systems and tools.
• Follow established vehicle return procedures and other operational processes as directed.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain an efficient operation and deliver a consistently positive customer experience.
