Job description

Looking for the needle in the haystack. *Actually looking for 2-3.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Cabinetmaker; Men or Women with experience in high-end custom woodwork, cabinet, or furniture builds. The ideal candidate WANTS to work as part of a team and put out the best work possible. This person is willing to share their experience, be resourceful, problem solve, as well as learn new things. This person takes pride in their abilities and attention to the details. THIS IS A SHOP BASED POSITION UNLESS APPLYING FOR THE INSTALLER-DUTIES:

1. Assembly of cabinets and components
2. Mill hardwood for face frame, doors, glue ups etc
3. Install hardware, and hang fronts with both euro and mortised hinges
4. Mill and fab frame and panel doors
5. Familiarity/prior experience with CNC, edge bander, shapers, rip saw, moulder
6. Clean up of shop

INSTALLER:

1. All tools necessary to perform the job + reliable transportation
2. Ability to work un-supervised
3. Must know how to run trim: crown, base etc
4. Must know how to scribe
5. Verifiable experience

ALL CANDIDATE MUST HAVES:

1. Reliable, honest, and a go-get-it attitude
2. 2+ years of verifiable experience
3. Able to drive
4. Experience with high-end, custom cabinet/woodworking
5. Must have an eye for detail and mastered the basics; sanding, cleaning, part tracking, measuring.
6. Ability to read and build off of plans from start to finish
7. Ability to proactively problem solve, it's all custom work

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

1. 10K sq foot shop, with modern equipment - CNC, EDGEBANDER, MOULDER, RIP SAW, as well as traditional machines - shapers, table saws, clamp racks, sanders etc. Everything needed to produce everything from glue ups to complete home millwork packages
2. M-F work week from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM + Saturdays (overtime as required)
3. 1 week vacation
4. 3 paid sick days
5. 5 paid holidays
