Owen Equipment, an Owen Company, is looking to hire an experienced Heavy Truck Equipment Installer to join our growing team. We are one of the largest Vactor and Elgin dealers in the United States, selling, servicing, and renting sewer cleaners, vacuum excavators, street sweepers, and related accessories. We are also a leading upfitter of service bodies and snow equipment, representing brands like IMT, Henke, Wausau-Everest, Swenson Spreader Co., and Oshkosh. Salary

$25.00 - $35.00 an hour, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Heavy Truck Equipment Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various truck bodies and equipment, such as dump bodies, flatbeds, water tanks, plows, chippers, and custom-built machines. Your tasks will include 12V electrical installations, welding, fabrication, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in the commercial truck/truck equipment industry.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Access to tools such as wrenches, sockets, drills, impacts, and grinders.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail, quality, and safety.
