Job description

Role: Installer / On-Site Problem Solver (Austin Metroplex)

The Warning Label: Most installation jobs treat you like a pair of hands. We treat you like the closer. You are the very last person our client sees, which means the entire reputation of our company rests on your execution and your attitude.

We are looking for you if you are a relentless problem-solver who thinks on your feet. You look at an unexpected snag on a job site not as a roadblock, but as a puzzle you need to fix now. You get uncomfortable when people drag their feet, complicate things, or milk the clock. You measure twice, cut once, and clean up three times, but you know that getting the job done efficiently and on schedule is just as important as the details.

We can teach you the specific carpentry skills. We can teach you how to install our custom systems. What we cannot teach is hustle, common sense, spatial awareness, and the drive to get a job done right and on time. If a fast-paced environment where you have to lug 75 pounds of materials, adapt to a wonky wall on the fly, and sweet-talk a homeowner sounds exhausting to you, we are not your people. If a job where you are trusted to execute and get it done sounds like you, keep reading.

Reasons NOT to Join Us:

  • You freeze when things go wrong. Houses aren't perfectly square. Designs sometimes need on-the-fly adjustments. If your first instinct is to stop working and wait for someone else to solve the problem, you will fail here.

  • You milk the clock. We operate on schedules and deadlines. If you get bogged down in unnecessary details at the expense of finishing the job on time, do not apply. We want efficient execution, not slow perfectionism.

  • You communicate poorly. This job requires constant, clear communication. You have to keep the client updated with absolute professionalism, and you must rapidly relay critical information back to our designers and managers. If you hate talking to people or go dark when a problem arises, you won't survive.

  • You need a babysitter. We hand you the designs, the van, and the materials. We expect you to load up, route your day, troubleshoot issues, and complete without someone always holding your hand.

  • You leave a trace. If you think leaving sawdust on a client’s hardwood floor or tools scattered in their space is acceptable, this isn't for you.

The Reality of the Job: You will take custom storage designs and turn them into physical reality. This isn't just screwing boxes to a wall; it requires heavy lifting, basic framing, and finishing work. You don't need to be a 20-year master carpenter to succeed here, but you do need to be proficient with power tools, mechanically minded, and resourceful.

The Upside: If you have the hustle and the hands-on aptitude, we will train you on the rest and back you up to build a highly profitable career.

  • The Gear: We provide the company van (for business hours) and specialized professional tools so you are equipped.

  • The Money & Perks: Competitive pay with growth potential as you get faster and more skilled. Paid time off, health insurance reimbursements, and on-the-job training.

  • The Respect: You will work with a team that values your ability to communicate clearly and get things done, and will treat you like the expert you are.

The Hard Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in installation, construction, or a related hands-on, problem-solving field.

  • Exceptional communication skills. You aren't afraid to calm the nerves of a client on-site and quickly explain a items needed to complete the job.

  • Highly comfortable with hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication techniques. (We will teach you the advanced stuff).

  • Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Physical ability to regularly lift 50-75 pounds safely on a job site.

If you just want to punch a clock, milk the hours, and do the bare minimum, this isn't the place for you.

If you are a resourceful builder who wants to be handed the keys, the tools, and the trust to get the job done right, apply.
