Job description

The Installer/Maintenance Technician assists in construction, installation, and maintenance projects, including carpentry, masonry, glazier, metal installation, painting, and other tasks. They are responsible for ensuring their work areas are cleaned and maintenance issues are addressed promptly. They obtain parts, supplies, and equipment from warehouses or storerooms when necessary, record maintenance and repair work performed, and perform other duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities

1. General maintenance of rooms and units
2. Construction, reconfiguration, and removal of units, including preparation for new sites and removal of decommissioned units
3. Installation, removal, and maintenance of other Bargold equipment
4. Loading, unloading, and delivery of building materials
5. Responding to and addressing emergency maintenance issues
6. Interacting with customers, building representatives, internal departments, and vendors as needed
7. Other duties as assigned

Job Specifications

• General knowledge of construction, building, and equipment maintenance
• Experience with power tools and safety equipment
• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and implement construction plans
• Work within OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe work environment

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous construction experience of 2+ years preferred
• Fluency in Spanish preferred

Compensation

Starting Pay Range: $21.80 - $29.06 Hourly
