Job summary

Architectural Fabrication, Inc. is seeking an Installer in Fort Worth, TX to install pre-manufactured awnings, sunshades, and canopies on client sites according to provided drawings and specifications.

You will read blueprints, prepare materials, travel to the DFW area daily, operate scaffolding and lifts, perform QA checks, and communicate project status to the PMO. Overtime and overnight stays may be required.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 75+ pounds frequently.
• Installation experience in the sign industry or similar construction experience.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Google Drive, Docs, and Mail.

Responsibilities

• Install awnings, sunshades, and canopies per provided drawings and specifications.
• Read blueprints and prepare all necessary materials and supplies for installation.
• Report to project sites within the DFW area daily.
• Operate scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, scissor lifts, and crane trucks.
• Perform quality assurance checks post-production and post-installation.
• Communicate onsite conditions and project status to the PMO.
• Maintain a driver's license and be available for out-of-town work with overnight stays.
• Ability to work overtime.

Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide necessary labor to install Architectural Fabrication’s pre-manufactured products on our clients’ job sites using safe and efficient methods. You will be responsible for the physical installation of products like awnings and sunshades while maintaining a high level of dependability and integrity in all customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities
