Leader Ambulance, a Southern California-based manufacturer within Terex Corporation, seeks personnel for production floor roles in California. You will install interior and exterior components, read engineering drawings, and use drills and woodworking tools to meet QA and 5S standards, driving on-time production.

0–1 year of manufacturing experience is preferred. Must read and communicate in English, prioritize tasks, and work safely in a noisy environment with PPE as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, comprehend and verbally communicate simple instructions in English.
• Must be able to prioritize work.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts.
• Ability to read and use measuring devices.
• Familiar with drills, screw guns, and woodworking tools.

Job Summary

Installation of various vehicle interior/exterior parts.

Responsibilities:

• Installation of all interior/exterior components and hardware
• Set work priorities to meet production goals as schedules
• Meet all QA and QC standards for each task
• Function with a minimal amount of supervision
• Meet standards of safety and 5S standards

Requirements (education, experience, travel, physical, work environment):

• Ability to read, write comprehend and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English
• Must be able to prioritize work
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layout and other written or verbal instructions presented in English
• Ability to read and use a linear and other measuring devises
• Familiar with various tools; drills, screw gun, table saw, band saw and router
• Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards
• Ability to recognize quality expected and be able to reproduce it

Education and Experience:

• 0-1 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred

• Ability to work with arms above head.
• Ability to work in noisy and dusty conditions.

While performing the duties of this job, employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. Employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particle and vibration. Employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals

Production Floor

Personal Protective Equipment Recommended and/or Required on Production Floor:

• Safety Glasses
• Earplugs
• Work gloves when needed
• Dust mask when needed
• Knee pads

The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in California is <$19.15 or between $19.15 - $23.74>. This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role. The base pay offered for the role may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We are proud to offer competitive benefits in addition to competitive pay.
