Job summary

Service Experts Heating & AC LLC is seeking an Installer/Lead Installer helper to assist in residential and light commercial HVAC installations. You will work under direct supervision with the Installer or Lead Installer to install equipment, ducts, and accessories according to specifications.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, some HVAC experience, and necessary EPA/safety certifications. You may be on-site, with physical requirements and driving responsibilities for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional training and 0 to 2 years’ experience in HVAC with technical training certification preferred.
• EPA and safety certifications required
• Basic knowledge of HVAC operation and related accessories
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and operate standard installation tools

Responsibilities

• Assist Installer or Lead Installer in installing HVAC equipment and accessories in homes or small commercial spaces.
• Assist with duct installation and fittings.
• Ensure tools and company property are maintained and accounted for.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Represent the company professionally and maintain a clean work area.

Welcome!Assists the Installer or Lead Installer in the installation of residential and/or light commercial HVAC equipment and accessories. Work is performed under direct supervision.Key Responsibilities:Works under direct supervision of the Installer or Lead Installer to install HVAC equipment and accessories in the customer’s homeAssists with the installation of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as accessories, in accordance with company requirements and manufacturer specificationsAssists in the installation of ducts and duct fittingsPerforms duties so as to deliver of excellent customer service and sustain high levels of customer satisfactionAssists in the delivery and removal of equipment needed to complete the installation workAssists the Installer or Lead Installer in ensuring company property, vehicles, and tools are being properly used, maintained, and properly accounted forAs needed or required, completes all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely mannerRepresents the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and concernsResponsible with the Installer for keeping installation vehicle clean and neat both inside and outside in keeping with the company’s professional imagePerforms similar/other duties as needed or assignedRegular, reliable attendanceDesired Skills and Qualifications:High school diploma or GED with additional training and 0 to 2 years’ experience in HVAC with technical training certification preferredMust possess all valid licensing or certification as required by federal, state, provincial, or local governmental laws or regulations for the geographical work areaEPA and safety certifications requiredBasic knowledge of the fundamentals of the operational functionality of heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment as well as related accessoriesMechanical aptitude and the ability to operate, or learn to operate, all necessary tools and equipmentBasic skills in reading wiring diagramsEffective communication skills to communicate with customer and to provide excellent customer serviceEffective and efficient time-management and organizational skillsValid driver’s license with acceptable driving recordAvailable to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as neededAbility to stand and walk and to climb ladders and attic stairs and to maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces to access HVAC units.
