Job description

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

This position will be responsible for the proper fabrication and assembling of metal parts and structures.

Essential Functions

• Fabricate and assemble metal parts and structures according to technical drawings and quality standards.
• Load and log materials onto truck and document returned materials.
• Read templates as per job specifications.
• Drill and install all hardware accurately as per job specifications.
• Attach all necessary hardware correctly as per job specifications.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy.
• Maintain a well‑organized, clean and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management in support of initiatives.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical or vocational training in metal fabrication, welding or machining.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field.
• Ability to multi‑task and work within specified timeframes.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, self‑directed environment.
• Problem‑solving ability.
• Previous work experience in the construction or distribution industry a plus.
