Job summary

MSS Solutions LLC is seeking an Installer Fire to join our growing MSS Fire and Security team. The role focuses on installing and wiring fire alarm systems and access control equipment, reading plans, and supporting other technicians to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have at least 3 years' experience installing or testing fire alarm systems, be able to read and write well, and comply with NEC and NFPA codes.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience installing and/or testing inspecting and performing minor repairs on fire alarm systems
• Be able to professionally present yourself
• Must be able to read and write
• Knowledgeable of NEC & NFPA codes and regulations
• Ability to show up on time ready to work and in uniform

Responsibilities

• Install and wire fire alarm systems
• Install access control equipment
• Read plans and drawings
• Support other technicians with system point checks
• Assist in troubleshooting of installations
• Maintain customer satisfaction for continual company growth

Role and Responsibilities

• Installation and wiring of fire alarm systems
• Installation of access control equipment
• Reading plans and drawings
• Support other technicians with system point checks
• Assist in the troubleshooting of installations
• Maintain customer satisfaction for continual company growth
• Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time

Qualifications and Requirements

• 3 years experience installing andor testing inspecting and performing minor repairs on a variety of fire alarm systems or a combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job
• Be able to professionally present yourself
• Must be able to work with various basic hand tools follow directions and be able to read and write
• Knowledgeable of NEC & NFPA codes and regulations
• Ability to communicate clearly and follow directions
• Ability to show up on time ready to work and in uniform
• Ability to abide by basic safe work practices

Physical Demands Occasional sitting frequent stooping crouching kneeling balancing and climbing Constant standing walking reaching and gripping Vision abilities required for this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus Must be able to talk and hear Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs maximum solo lift and constant lifting to 25 lbs placing this position in the very heavy physical demand classification PDC

Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record required

Must successfully pass a background check & drug test

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
