Job summary

American Christmas in Mount Vernon, NY is seeking a seasonal team member to drive box trucks, load and unload equipment, and install client displays across New York City and the Tri-State area.

You will operate ladders and lifts, use hand and power tools, and follow safety standards. A valid driver’s license is required, and you must be prepared for extended shifts, weekends, and overnight work.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted.
• Must supply own basic tools.
• Experience operating AWP Genie, Push-Around and Scissor Lifts on occasion.
• Available for Overnights, Weekends and 12+ hour shifts.
• Comfortable with lifts and ladders and working up to 40 feet.
• Good communication and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Drive box trucks from our warehouse in Mount Vernon to client locations.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Install displays at client locations, mostly in New York City and the Tri-State Area.
• Work on ladders and lifts, indoors and outdoors, with various heights.
• Use hand and power tools and perform basic rigging and electrical tasks.
• Maintain high safety standards throughout the job.
• Remove displays at the end of the holiday season.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Driving Box Trucks from our warehouse in Mount Vernon to client location. Valid Drivers License Required
• Load and Unload trucks
• Adhering to all set Safety Standards as a condition of your employment.
• Installing displays at client locations mostly in New York City and the Tri-State Area
• Install work includes working on ladders and lifts on both interior and exterior décor
• Using a variety of hand and power tools
• Basic Rigging skills- i.e.- Aircraft cable
• Basic Electrical Skills- Zip Cord/SJ Cord
• Maintain high safety standards and techniques related to the job
• Removing Displays at the end of the holiday season

QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:
