Job summary

Comcast in Tampa, FL is seeking an Installation Helper to support the Solar Panel Installation team. You will assist with mounting, wiring, and servicing solar systems, performing tasks from roofs and ladders under established safety standards.

We will train you. You must have an active driver's license, be comfortable with hand tools, and not afraid of heights. Nights, weekends, and overtime may be required as part of a variable schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation of solar panel systems, including mounting panels and racking, and wiring.
• Use hand and power tools to install racking and support equipment.
• Service solar systems as needed and perform work from elevated positions following safety codes.
• Maintain regular attendance and be able to work nights, weekends, and overtime when required.

Core Responsibilities

• Assisting in the installation of solar panel systems, including mounting panels and racking, and wiring
• Using hand and power tools to install racking
• Servicing the solar system as needed
• Performing jobs from high places (i.e. on roofs) including climbing ladders with proper equipment and materials
• Adhering to all quality and safety codes
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Compensation

Base Pay: $18.00. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non‑sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
