Job summary

Diverzify+ is seeking a skilled Installer for commercial and industrial flooring projects in Louisville, KY. You will install wood, vinyl, linoleum and tile, perform demolition, surface prep, material handling and ensure epoxy or solvent applications meet client specifications.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, prior flooring installation experience or completion of an apprenticeship, thorough knowledge of flooring materials and installation techniques, the ability to lift up

Qualifications

• Prior flooring installer experience or completion of an apprenticeship.
• Excellent knowledge of flooring materials and installation techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assess work sites to determine possible issues and make recommendations accordingly
• Prepare surfaces for installation by removing old hardware like screws and bolts
• Use hand and power tools to install flooring materials according to client specifications
• Work alongside other installers while emphasizing safety and efficient use of time and materials
• Inspect finished work to ensure customer satisfaction and the highest possible standards of work
• Advise clients on proper care and maintenance of products after the completion of installation projects.
• Ability to address small carpentry and trim-related issues including planning door bottoms.
