Job summary

Singer Equipment Company, Inc. seeks a dedicated Installer to install and maintain large kitchen food service equipment at customer locations, with frequent travel across state lines.

You will handle delivery, installation, and on-site support while coordinating with project managers and customers to ensure smooth execution. The role requires physical strength, familiarity with hand and power tools, and a willingness to travel 3–4 nights per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to travel 3-4 nights per week, 3-4 weeks per month.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and climbing, bending, kneeling.
• Able to work on construction sites, kitchens, warehouses and loading docks.
• Knowledge of hand tools is required; forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and installation of kitchen equipment locally and nationwide.
• Follow directions from supervisors and project managers to complete jobs.
• Move heavy objects and operate power tools safely.

We are seeking dedicated and skilled candidates for the role of Installer. This position involves frequent travel, both in and out of state, to support the installation and maintenance of large kitchen food service equipment at our customer locations.

Essential Functions

• Delivery and installation of various kitchen equipment and supplies locally and nationwide
• Taking direction from others to complete the job
• Moving heavy objects and working with power tools
• Communicating directly with customers and with our project managers is critical for the successful execution of the job
• Some warehouse work and building maintenance are required on rare occasions

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to travel 3-4 nights per week, 3-4 weeks per month.
• Physical abilities including heavy lifting that will be required. Climbing, bending, kneeling, and squatting.
• Able to work on construction sites, operational kitchens and cafeterias, warehouses and loading docks
• Mechanically inclined – knowledge of hand tools is required
• Preferred experience that is helpful: construction, electrical, plumbing, and/or forklift
• Team player, reliable, dependable, and willing to work
• Must have an acceptable driving record and active driver's license to be insurable to be able to drive a company truck
